Virginia Tanner Huffman dies in motorcycle crash at 23
Death of Tanner Huffman – Tanner Huffman of Fredericksburg, Virginia was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, August 26, 2023. He is son, friend, brother, uncle, cousin, father-to-be and husband. According to Heather Bates, knowing Tanner meant loving him, and he left this world with a smile and love in his heart. His legacy will continue through his daughters.
Funeral service will be held at the Covenant Funeral Home in Fredericksburg on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. His final funeral will be at 1 p.m. at Hoffman’s home in Anstead, West Virginia.

On the morning of May 12, 2022, at one in the morning, deputies were called to the scene of an accident that had happened between a motorbike and a motor vehicle in the area surrounding Courthouse Road and Anna Point Lane. The incident had taken place.
When the units arrived within minutes, a lone motorbike was located off the road after it had hit with an embankment. The accident had occurred moments before. The rider was ejected from the motorbike, and his body was located at the scene of the collision when it was discovered there. The results of the investigation indicate that the motorbike was travelling in the direction of westbound traffic on Courthouse Road when it came upon a curve at a high rate of speed and crashed into the embankment. The collision that took place was caused in part by both speeding and drinking alcohol.
It was determined that James William Segrue, who resides in Spotsylvania and is 39 years old, was the person behind the wheel of the automobile. The investigation into the crash was carried out by the Sheriff’s Office’s collision Reconstruction Team.
