THEY OCCUPED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF LAND

In the past 25 years, the desert locust invasions in 2019 and 2020 were recorded as one of the most severe cases. Experts state that locusts occupy hundreds of thousands of acres of agricultural land, destroying the plants, trees and other green cover there, and this seriously risks food security.
