He has held a variety of teaching and coaching positions, including assistant coaching in football, girls’ basketball, and baseball. He was also the head baseball coach. Jeff also worked at Maceo Elementary before moving to DCHS.
Jeff Hurley completed his education at Kentucky Wesleyan College, Western Kentucky University, and Indiana Wesleyan University. He was married to Tammy Hamilton Hurley. The couple had a son named Braxton. Hurley retired as a teacher and coach in 2018.
