The most fertile woman in the world is Uganda’s Mariem Nabatanzi… She has 44 children.

Mariem Nabatanzi, who holds the record for having the most children, was warned by doctors that she could have serious health problems if she stopped giving birth. Moreover, by the time Mariem Nabatanzi was 40, she had given birth to 44 children and was told that no family planning method would work.
The woman in Uganda, East Africa, who gave birth to four twins, five triplets and five quadruplets, has only given birth to an only child once. Besides the pain of losing six of her children and her husband left her and ran away with all the family’s money. He left Mariem with 38 children, 20 boys and 18 girls, to raise alone.
Mariem was sold and married off by her parents when she was only 12 years old, and she became pregnant soon after. She was only 13 years old when she gave birth to her first child. According to experts, fertility rates are much higher in Uganda, where there is an average of 5.6 children per woman. This figure is more than twice the world average of 2.4 children. However, Mariem, known as ‘Mother Uganda’ in her home country, soon realized that she was not like other women.
According to Sabah, when she continued to give birth to twins, triplets and quadruplets, she went to the health center. Doctors told her she had abnormally large ovaries, leading to a condition called “hyperovulation.” We were told that birth control would not work and would likely cause serious health problems.
Treatments for hyperovulation are available, but they are difficult to access in rural parts of Uganda. Dr., a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. Charles Kiggundu stated that the most likely cause of Mariem’s extreme fertility was “genetics”.
