Squid Game actor Oh Young-soo sentenced to prison for sexual abuse

Oh Young-soo, who starred in the world-famous TV series Squid Game, was sentenced to prison on charges of sexual assault. Speaking about the accusation, the actor said, “I feel like my life is ruined because of the fact that it will end somehow.”
79-year-old Oh Young-soo, known for his role in the Squid Game series, which took the world by storm with its episodes, came to the fore with the crime of sexual abuse.

“I FEEL MY LIFE IS RUINED”

The actor, who stayed in the countryside for a theater play in 2017, came to the fore with the allegation that he tried to hug a woman and kiss her without her consent. The famous actor, who was sued for the incident leaked to the world press in 2022, appeared in court in South Korea. The actor who was found guilty was given an 8-month suspended prison sentence.

The actor’s lawyers stated that there was no valid evidence other than the woman who said she was abused. Speaking about the accusation, the actor said, “It is difficult for me to appear in court due to my age. I feel like my life is ruined because of the fact that my life will end somehow. I ask you to make a wise decision.”
