Quincy Promes arrested… Subject: Cocaine smuggling

Quincy Promes, whose name was involved in cocaine trafficking, was sentenced to 6 years in prison by the Amsterdam court last month. Quincy Promes was arrested in Dubai at the request of Dutch prosecutors.

Dutch winger Quincy Promes, who has previously been involved in crimes such as cocaine smuggling and assault and currently plays for Spartak Moscow, was arrested in Dubai. Quincy Promes was found guilty of complicity in cocaine trafficking and was sentenced to 6 years in prison by an Amsterdam court last month.

The Amsterdam District Court ruled that Promes’ name was involved in the import and export of hundreds of kilos of cocaine in 2020.

ARRESTED

Following the decision, Promes, who went to camp in the United Arab Emirates, was detained and released there, but at the request of Dutch prosecutors, the experienced football player was arrested in Dubai. In accordance with the agreement between the two countries, Quincy Promes is expected to be extradited to the Netherlands.

Quincy Promes stabbed his cousin in the leg last year and was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison.
