Having suited up with the original Metro Mudcats as well as the Newcastle Cardinals, the Moncton Mets, the Hub City brewers and finally the Moncton Fisher Cats before closing the chapter on his senior baseball career in 2016. After multiple attempts from the Dieppe players over the past few years, Luc finally decided to join the Cards in 2023. Having played with most of the guys on the roster in the past, Luc’s transition with Dieppe was seamless, he instantly meshed with the team and took on a leadership role within the core. Whether it was on the bump for a few innings, coaching 3rd base, hitting infield/outfield pre game, or getting ejected at Provincials to ‘’pump up the boys’’…he did it all with his trademarked Luc Daigle passion. Luc was known as a gamer, sitting 7th all-time in career wins in the NB senior baseball league with 41. He was the type of person you always wanted by your side if things were to go sideways, he would always have a teammates back and was not one to shy away from a challenge, ‘’first one out of the dugout was Luc’’ is something we heard often. He will be missed dearlyRepose en paix mon ami.
