Gilbert, who won the hearts of millions with her character Laura Ingalls in the TV series Little House, sold her luxurious mansion and moved to her cottage in a rural area.
Gilbert stays away from aesthetic interventions, challenging Hollywood standards of youth and beauty. The famous actor, who will be 60 in May, respects the natural aging process by saying, “The opposite of aging is death.”
Gilbert, who has been married three times and had a difficult time in the complex relationship world of Hollywood, prefers a simple life with her third husband, Timothy Busfield. The couple disposed of their luxury mansion in Los Angeles and settled in a cottage they named “Cabbage”.
