The tragic loss of Hayim Katsman, a beloved member of the University of Washington and University of Jerusalem communities, has left his family, friends and colleagues in mourning. He was among more than 300 people killed in a recent terrorist attack in southern Israel and Gaza.

Who was Hayim Katsman?

Hayim Katsman was a talented, cheerful and generous man who was passionate about research, teaching and music. Her mother, Hannah Katsman, is the Fundraising Coordinator at the Women’s Justice Center. Hayim was a graduate of the University of Washington and a teacher at Ben Gurion University and Hadassah College.
