84-year-old British woman named Iris Jones, who married 37-year-old Egyptian Mohammed, regretted what she had done. Iris claimed that her younger husband constantly asked her for money and used her to obtain a residence permit. Iris filed for divorce from her 37-year-old wife. His two sons had warned Iris about this.

84-year-old British Iris Jones, who decided to divorce 37-year-old Muhammed İbrahim, whom she met online, rebelled. “He used me to get a residence permit,” said Iris Jones.

“DO NOT GIVE HER MONEY”

British Iris Jones said; “I went to Cairo in November 2019 and met him. I paid off his credit card debts. An official at the British embassy in Cairo warned me, ‘Don’t give him any money.’ But I didn’t listen and gave him 15,000 pounds.

“We used to spend my money all the time. He always wanted money from me. When I didn’t give money, the fights increased. He offered to tell me the names of the women who were dating him if I changed my will and left my money to him.”

“She used me for a residence permit and visa. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever made and my love for Mohammed was very real, but I followed my mind instead of my heart.”

His sons had warned

Iris’ two sons had warned the old woman about this marriage years ago. The two sons claimed that Mohammed Ibrahim was after their mother’s money and pretended to get a visa. Iris said she was sure she wasn’t after her lover’s money or her British passport.
